1. Definitions

In these general terms and conditions, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

a. Fast Pedals: the electric bicycle repairer who carries out repairs and maintenance on e-bikes.

b. Customer: the person who makes an appointment with Fast Pedals for repairs and/or maintenance on e-bikes.

2. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements between the Customer and Fast Pedals, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Making an appointment

a. The Customer can make an appointment with Fast Pedals via the website or by telephone.

b. When making an appointment, the Customer must clearly indicate which type of e-bike is involved and what the problem is.

4. Execution of the work

a. Fast Pedals makes a diagnosis based on the information provided by the Customer and its own expertise.

b. Fast Pedals draws up a repair plan based on the diagnosis. This includes a cost indication and expected repair time.

c. After the Customer has agreed, the repair will be carried out. Fastpedals will carry out the work to the best of its knowledge and ability.

d. Fast Pedals is not liable for damage to the e-bike that is not directly related to the work carried out.

5. Payment

a. The repair costs and any other costs will be charged directly to the Customer after completion of the work.

b. Payment must be made in cash or by digital payment order.

c. If the Customer is unable to pay immediately, an invoice will be drawn up. This must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.

6. Warranty

a. Fast Pedals provides a 2-month warranty on repairs carried out by it.

b. The warranty applies exclusively to the replacement part and/or the repair and not to other parts or aspects of the e-bike. If a part has a different warranty period, this will be stated prior to the repair and the different warranty period will apply.

c. The warranty expires if the repair is not used or maintained correctly.

7. Liability

a. Fast Pedals is not liable for damage caused as a result of the work carried out, unless this damage was caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of Fast Pedals.

b. Fast Pedals is not liable for damage to the bicycle and/or e-bike that is not directly related to the work carried out.

8. Complaints

a. If the Customer is not satisfied with the work performed, the Customer must report this to Fast Pedals immediately after discovery.

b. Fast Pedals will resolve the complaint as soon as possible and to the best of its ability in consultation.

c. If the Customer remains dissatisfied, he/she can submit a written complaint to Fast Pedals within 14 days after the date of the work performed.

d. Fast Pedals will respond to the complaint in writing within 14 days.

9. Force Majeure

a. Fast Pedals is not liable if it cannot meet its obligations as a result of force majeure.

b. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: war, strikes, illness, extreme weather conditions and other circumstances beyond the control of Fast Pedals.

10. Applicable law and disputes

a. Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions.

b. All disputes arising from or related to an agreement between Fast Pedals and the Customer will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.

11. Amendment of the terms and conditions

Fast Pedals reserves the right to amend or supplement these general terms and conditions. The amended terms and conditions will enter into force 30 days after publication via the Fast Pedals website or by e-mail to the Customer.

12. Final provisions

a. If one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions are null and void or voidable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

b. These general terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Fast Pedals and the Customer and replace all previous agreements, whether made orally or in writing.
